She began her career in 1992 at SINTEF Norway synthesizing APIs. In 2001 she founded Synthetica AS specializing in custom molecule development and APIs, including K2 MK-7. She founded Kappa in 2006, and Synthetica was acquired by Kappa in 2016. She holds M.Sc and PhD degrees in Organic Chemistry from University of Oslo, Norway.
