Introducing the NutraIngredients Omega-3 Summit: GOED-backed event to take place in Singapore

NutraIngredients, backed by trade association Global Organization for EPA and DHA Omega-3s (GOED), is to hold its inaugural Omega-3 summit in February 2019 in Singapore, with a host of top speakers already on board.

The event comes after William Reed, the publishers of NutraIngredients, and GOED announced a collaboration to expand the number of global touchpoints for the omega-3 community earlier this year.

Under the terms of the agreement, William Reed will become the “Headline Media Sponsor” for the biennial Omega-3 industry event, the GOED Exchange.

And in a similar deal to its successful partnership with the International Probiotics Association on the global Probiota series, William Reed will stage a NutraIngredients Omega-3 Summit, in association with GOED, during the off-years between GOED Exchanges in one of its global regions.

We can now confirm the first of which will take place in Singapore from February 20 to 22.

The main contention surrounds potential costs, as well as the practicality of mandatory edible oil fortification.
