Probiota Asia 2019: Kibow Biotech, Hudson Institute and Antion Beijing among first wave of speakers

Probiota Asia returns to Singapore in October this year.

APAC's premier probiotics, prebiotics and microbiome summit, Probiota Asia, will return to Singapore for its third edition this October.

The event will take place at the Hilton Hotel in Singapore between October 22 and 24 and feature speakers from from Kibow Biotech, Hudson Institute of Medical Research, The Japanese Society of Anti-Ageing Nutrition and Antion Beijing, among others.

Last year’s event featuring presentations from a raft of industry experts from the likes of Danone, DuPont, Lifespace, IPA, and esteemed academics from across the globe.

Organised by NutraIngredients-Asia, the latest edition will see a speaker’s line-up from major markets, such as China, India, and Japan, as they shed light on probiotics market trends and scientific developments.

One of them is Dr Natarajan Ranganathan, managing director of biotechnology firm Kibow Biotech. He will be talking about out-of-the-box clinical applications of pre and probiotics in chronic kidney disease and other health conditions.

As a medical R&D professional, Dr Ranganathan’s area of expertise spans across the gut-brain, gut-kidney axis, and also integrated holistic medical fields.
