The product promotes weight management by maintaining blood sugar levels, in turn, helping individuals reduce their food cravings and food intake.
Speaking to NutraIngredients-Asia during Vitafoods Asia, CEO Stephen Ohara said that the firm had identified India as the base for the firm’s expansion into Asia.
“We started in the UK and moved into the Europe then into the US, now we are moving into India, which is the base to move into Asia,” Ohara said.
Suresh Garg, MD of Zeon Lifesciences also talked about how he would work with OptiBiotix to supply SlimBiome to different APAC markets.
Besides India, OptiBiotix has also entered into a manufacturing, supply, and distribution agreement with Australian firm Maxum Foods, which has an exclusive license in manufacturing, supplying, and distributing SlimBiome’s weight management technology in Australia and New Zealand.
