Distributor Pathway International and One Innovation Labs are partnering to supply the latter's Pureway-C and Liposomal Pureway-C vitamin C ingredients to brands and formulators in Australia and New Zealand.

One Innovation Labs, based in Florida, says studies whow PureWay C can offer 'better' immune protection and higher free radical scavenging capabilities.

"Pureway-C's is supported by four peer reviewed and published clinical studies showing statistically significant efficacy in absorption, retention, as well as clinical benefits in several different categories," said the firm.

Meanwhile, Liposomal Pureway-C provides the necessary microscopic images that provide clear proof of liposomal technology, it added.

Dr Pedro Perez, CSO at One Innovation Labs, said: “We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with Pathway International, one of the most established names in ingredient distribution in ANZ," adding that “we are already applying our patented technology to bring to market a pipeline of new liposomal ingredients.”

Wayne Coote, Managing Director at Pathway International, said global demand for vitamin C was growing to support immunity, beauty-from-within and various other categories.

"Educated consumers are seeking out branded and clinically studied ingredients that can deliver optimum performance and the Pureway-C and liposomal format is absolutely on trend in this space. As One Innovation Labs is now vertically integrated with its own cGMP production facility, we can see the additional potential for new opportunities with their liposomal technology around other vitamins and minerals emerging from its impressive NPD programme," he added.
